Saga of the Signet, ca. 1943-2000.

Several handwritten pages outline Davis' experiences as they relate specifically to his religious experiences during the war. Two short histories of the USS Signet detail its life and service during World War II. In "The Saga of the Signet," a longer history of his experiences aboard the Signet, Davis writes of the specific manuevers he and the rest of the crew underwent while at sea from departing the United States, to victory at Iwo Jima. In "chapter two" of "The Saga of the Signet" Davis continues his narrative of the activities of the Signet from its departure after Iwo Jima to the end of the War in the Pacific and its return to the United States.
